In 2016 I co-founded Spoke, a new kind of support system for organizations. Spoke is different than most traditional ticketing systemsIt’s fast, friendly, and easy for teams to set up. To date, Spoke has raised $28M from Greylock Partners, Accel, and other incredible investors.

While we were at Google, we saw first-hand just how important ticketing is. Whether you wanted to report a bug, get your laptop fixed, request time off, or just ask for a new snack in the mini-kitchen, ultimately, you needed to file a ticket. These systems were spread across the company, and generally, none of them were very friendly to use.

We decided to fix that with Spoke in a few key ways. First, Spoke is designed to be used across the company by any team—not just IT and HR. Second, it’s built to go hand-in-hand with chat apps like Slack, so employees can get support fast and in a place they’re used to. Lastly, it uses an amazing AI system that can both answer questions and triage requests on its own—and gets better at doing so over time.

Spoke is currently used by a variety of forward-thinking companies, such as Envoy, Glossier, Honey, and TripActions.

I left Spoke in 2020 to start working on a new app. Email me to find out more, or discuss collaborating on your next project.
